Reeths-Puffer rode yet another starring performance by pitcher Lainey McDaniel to a 10-0 win over Mona Shores Wednesday, completing a three-game sweep.
As with the baseball team's game, the planned Thursday game was moved up a day due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms.
McDaniel dominated the Shores lineup, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out six in five innings.
R-P (11-1, 6-0 O-K Green) broke open the game with five runs in the fourth inning, extending an early lead to 7-0. Abbie Critchett had a two-run triple in the frame, and Kyleigh Bilek added a two-run single. Three more runs in the fifth ended the game by mercy rule.
Mady Snyder went 4-for-4 with two RBI, and McDaniel and Critchett each had three hits. Tessa Ross and Ava Gibbs had two hits apiece.
