Reeths-Puffer baseball drops error-filled game to Mona Shores

Reeths-Puffer dropped its third game in two days against rival Mona Shores Wednesday, 12-6.
The game, originally scheduled for Thursday, was moved up a day due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms.
R-P (3-5, 1-5 O-K Green) seized an early 6-2 lead by scoring twice in each of the first three innings. Brendan Guikema had an RBI single in the first, Holden Earnest brought in two with a single in the second, and Lukas Johnson had a two-run single in the third.
However, Shores took over from there, scoring the last 10 runs of the game, including five in the fifth. The Rockets made six errors in the game, making seven runs unearned.
Guikema pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing no earned runs on two hits and striking out four.
