The White Lake Area Climate Action Council will host an event Wednesday, Aug. 20 with Dan Broersma, author of the book Practical Sustainability. The event will take place at the Book Nook & Java Shop from 6-7 p.m.
Broersma will share his thoughts and his journey working in sustainable energy. He has worked at Miller Knoll (previously Herman Miller), Goodwill of West Michigan and as the City of Holland's first sustainability manager. With over 25 years of experience in the field, Broersma has faced many challenges and worked to build an approach to sustainability within organizations that he believes can translate to many others.
