Montague won an exciting five-game match over Oakridge in West Michigan Conference Lakes play Tuesday night, 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 14-25, 15-12.
It was a big night for the Wildcat defense, as Gentry Knop rang up 34 digs and Reagan Cederquist added 26. Annelyse Schneider paced the Montague offense with 12 kills and also had five blocks at the net. Cederquist had nine kills on only 15 attacks, a very efficient performance.
Knop and Ella Evans each had three aces to lead the Wildcat servers, and Emalee McGee ha 28 assists.
