Hart defeated Mason County Central 45-32 Tuesday night in West Michigan Conference Rivers action, improving to 7-2 overall and 4-2 in the WMC Rivers.
"Hart played great defense, but struggled finishing around the
basket," Hart coach Ron Williamson said.
The Pirates cruised to a 38-19 lead after three quarters before MCC battled back to make the score a bit closer down the stretch.
Rilynn Porter led a balanced scoring output for Hart with 11 points, and Natalie Rosema added 10. Aurora Virtanen chipped in eight points.
