Reeths-Puffer went 2-3 at Saturday's Fruitport Legends Tournament, finishing in fourth place.
The Rockets lost their third-place match to Fruitport by tiebreaker, 41-40, as the Trojans forfeited only one match to the Rockets' two. R-P defeated Kent City (38-32) and Grant (51-16), losing matches to Greenville (50-21) and to Portland (46-22).
Landon Learn led the Rockets with another outstanding day, going 5-0. He pinned three of his opponents and scored a major decision. Two other R-P wrestlers went 4-1: Hunter Eek recorded three pins and had a major decision among his four wins, and Travis Henderson picked up a pin and a major decision.
