Whitehall boys basketball drops close game to Fremont

Whitehall lost a close game to Fremont in West Michigan Conference Lakes action Tuesday, 54-48.
Corde Anderson had a huge statistical game for the Vikings (5-9, 3-3 WMC Lakes), going for 16 points and 19 rebounds. He also blocked three shots. Pierce Westerlund added 13 points, and Elijah Smith had 10, with seven boards. Whitehall outrebounded Fremont 41-29.
The teams' divergent performances at the free throw line were big in the final outcome, as the Vikings shot 5-of-11 while Fremont was 7-of-8.
