Hart never let Western Michigan Christian pull away Tuesday night in non-conference play, but fell short of the victory in a 62-56 defeat.
The Warriors grabbed the lead in the second quarter and led 29-24 at halftime. The two teams played essentially dead even the rest of the game.
WMC's Madie Folkema was the difference in the game, dominating in the paint and scoring 28 points to lead all scorers. For Hart, Rilynn Porter and Reese Smith each scored 14 points, and Macy Riley added 12.
