Pentwater lost a West Michigan D League doubleheader to Marion Thursday, 12-1 and 16-1.
The
Falcons briefly tied game one in the first inning when Abram Kieda drew
a bases-loaded walk with nobody out. Unfortunately, the Falcons
couldn't bring in any more runs, and Marion quickly took control of the
game.
Pentwater got two hits, and Kieda had one of them, along with two walks. Three other Falcons drew two walks each.
In
game two, Marion piled up 10 runs in the first inning and never looked
back. Pentwater again managed two hits, and Colton Jorissen drew a
bases-loaded walk.
