After being unable to score at its first meet of the season,
Shelby's girls team finished fifth out of six scoring teams at Tuesday's
Calvary Christian Invitational. The Tiger boys were again unable to
score as a team.
Shelby had a top-10 finisher in each race.
Noel Parker took fifth for Shelby in the girls' race with a time of
21:38.98, and Parker Weirich was ninth in the boys' race in a time of
18:31.1.
Lydia Soelberg helped the Tiger girls with a
13th-place finish (22:58.5), followed by Kathryn Beyer in 26th
(24:16.2), Ava Lamberg in 53rd (28:38.9) and Michelle Peterson in 58th
(29:29.2).
Jaciel Moreno and Emilio Bustos also finished for the Tiger boys, placing 35th (21:52.9) and 45th (23:04.96) respectively.
