Shelby blanked Tri-County 4-0 Thursday in non-conference action, bouncing back well from a tough and close loss to North Muskegon the night before.
Javier Cervantes and Cesar Cadena each scored a pair of goals for the Tigers. Cadena's first goal came on a free kick, said coach Cristian Arellano, which opened the scoring.
The Tigers dominated much of the game, posting 14 shots on goal to the Vikings' six. Oliver Gorton made six saves to pick up the shutout.
