Arthur Hren, age 73, of Hesperia, Michigan, passed away September 17, 2026. He was born October 5, 1952, in Shelby, Michigan, to Blanche (Pranger) and Anton Hren.
After graduating high school, Art worked at Howmet for 30 years. In 1974 Art Hren and Vicki Hornbrook got married and had three children. Eric Hren, Jodi Heski (Hren), and Diane Hren. Art was a loving family man who enjoyed his free time gardening, raising farm animals, and spending time with his kids and grandkids
Arthur leaves behind: children, Eric (Hatasi) Hren, Jodi (Steven) Heski, and Diane Hren; grandchildren, Sebastian (Sierra) Carr, Mia Hren, Haven Mixter, Taviah Williams, Kyla Hren, and Leona Hren; great-grandchild, Sveya Nolan; and siblings, Patricia, Richard and Jean.
Arthur was preceded in death by: his parents, Anton and Blanche (Pranger) Hren; siblings, Tony, Helen, Loretta, John, Matthew, Douglas, Darlene, and Thomas.
A Celebration of Life will take place October 9, 2026 at Harris Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., located at 267 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby Michigan 49455.
