Many visitors to the White River Light Station's 150th anniversary Saturday took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the view from the top.

These new natural sand areas are a main feature on the renovated front nine of the White Lake Golf Club. Different from traditional sand traps, the natural areas play more like grass and require less maintenance.

The new Dune Grass Gallery, which opened in May, displays dozens of works of art from 20 artists. The gallery hopes to promote the art scene throughout the White Lake area.
