Jenison took the rubber match of this week's three-game series with Reeths-Puffer Thursday, edging the Rockets 3-2.
The Rockets fell to 16-7 overall and 7-5 in the O-K Green Conference.
All
the games' runs came in the fifth inning. Mady Snyder mashed a two-run
homer to left field to open the scoring, but the Wildcats came back and
pushed across three runs buoyed by an R-P error, the only one of the
game.
Snyder started the game and pitched four shutout
innings, allowing five hits. She also got two hits of her own, including
the homer, and Kyleigh Bilek also got two hits.
