Pentwater runners enjoyed some individual success at Saturday's Ludington Invitational, setting three new personal best times and six season bests.
Neither Falcons' team had enough finishers to score, but coach Erika Fatura was thrilled with the individual efforts.
Bailey Case earned the Falcons' best finish of the day, placing seventh in the girls' race. Her time was 23:00.4. Lauren Davis added a 21st-place finish and a new season best time of 26:33.8, and Maggie Jorissen set a personal best time for the fifth race in a row, coming in 29th (31:50.5).
Bode Powell was the top finisher for Pentwater's boys, finishing 31st in the race. His season best time of 21:49.2 was nearly two minutes better than his previous best of 2025. Ben Roberson placed 34th in a time of 23:11.8, and Michael Smith was 41st (32:12.9).
