The Shelby Area District Library is pleased to announce it has received a $3,600 grant from the Oceana Community Foundation (OCF). These funds, awarded from the Oceana Youth Fund and the Community Investment Fund at the OCF, will support the purchase of new computers that will be available for use by the community and visitors to the Shelby area.
“As a library, it is our goal to provide useful services to our patrons and community. This grant will enable computer users to create resumes, research, access email and print documents on reliable and efficient computers,” says Library Director Tiffany Haight.
The OCF awards grants through a competitive application and review process twice a year. Information on these grant rounds and how to apply can be found at https://oceanafoundation.org/g...
