Kole Thomas, Noah Walker win titles for Oceana teams at Allendale wrestling invite

Hart finished fourth, highlighted by a weight-class title from Kole Thomas, while Hesperia was 14th, at Saturday's Allendale Invitational.
Thomas easily earned the title at 113 pounds, scoring two of his three victories by pin, including one over Martin's Adler Hofer in the finals.
The Pirates also had three third-place finishers in the competitive meet. Abdel Lopez had perhaps the busiest day for Hart, as each of his final two matches went to overtime. Lopez narrowly missed a bid in the finals by dropping an ultimate tiebreaker match to Kingsley's Colton Goethals in the semifinals, but was able to bounce back to score a 5-1 overtime victory against Wayland's Logan Hall.
Sawyer Boos took third at 120, going 2-1 with a pair of bonus-point wins. Adrian Lara scored a pair of wins at 285, both by pin, to also finish third.
Three Panthers competed in the A brackets, highlighted by 285-pounder Noah Walker, who won his bracket with a 3-0 record. Walker eked out an overtime win against Wayland's Zephan Shafer, 2-1, in the semifinals before edging Peyton Schuring-Harris of Martin 4-2 in the title match.
