Pentwater boys basketball falls just short in loss to Grand Traverse Academy

Pentwater lost a hard-fought battle to the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs Friday night, 47-43.
Missed free throws loomed large in the final outcome as the Falcons were 4-of-13 at the charity stripe.
Those struggles spoiled a good battle by the Falcons, who were down 29-23 at the half but continued to stay close the entire game.
Brody Austin and Abram Kieda had impressive double-doubles to lead the Falcons. Austin had 15 points and 12 rebounds, as well as four steals, and Kieda put up 11 points and 18 boards, with five steals. Jacobo Martin chipped in nine points and five more steals.
