Hart lost to a great Morley-Stanwood team Monday night in non-conference action, 68-51.
The Mohawks are just outside the AP top 10 in Division 3 and showed why Monday, exploding for 24 third-quarter points to erase a 33-29 Pirates' halftime lead. Hart was unable to recover, despite its very strong first half of play.
Rilynn Porter's long-distance shooting was a big factor for Hart, as she made three three-pointers in the first half and four in the game overall. She had 20 points. Reese Smith added 10. Laney Bongard led four Mohawks in double figures with 18 points.
