Hesperia played a solid game Monday against Ravenna, but fell short 62-41 in West Michigan Conference Rivers action.
The Panthers hung tough with Ravenna well into the second half, trailing only 26-25 at the break, but the Bulldog offense came alive in the second half. Ravenna outscored Hesperia 20-4 in the third quarter to put the game away.
"Along with some good shooting, they created several turnovers," Hesperia coach Scott Warsaw said of the Bulldogs' third-quarter efforts.
Dylan May led the Bulldogs with 22 points. Malakai Sellers scored 16 for Hesperia.
