Shelby blanked Mason County Central in the first quarter of Tuesday night's West Michigan Conference Rivers game, cruising to a 62-28 victory.
The Tigers (12-1, 7-0 WMC Rivers) led 24-0 after a quarter and dominated throughout the game. Jayna Burmeister enjoyed her typical strong performance, with 20 points, 12 rebounds, six steals and five assists.
Shelby was so dominant on the boards that it had 29 offensive rebounds to MCC's 21 total rebounds. Three Tigers went into double figures in rebounding; Kylie Brown had 11 rebounds and Annabelle Stark had 10. Stark also had 14 points, securing a double-double.
