Hesperia started very slowly Tuesday night in West Michigan Conference Rivers play and fell to Mason County Central, 58-34.
The Panthers (4-13, 2-8 WMC Rivers) managed just one point in the first quarter as MCC took a double-digit lead. Hesperia couldn't recover from that tough start.
"MCC created
numerous turnovers that led to easy scoring opportunities," Hesperia coach Scott Warsaw said.
Malakai Sellers and Evan Conkle each had nine points for Hesperia. Cole Vanderhaag posted 14 points fo the Spartans.
