Walkerville closed out regular-season play on a high note Friday with a 70-36 win at Heritage Christian.
"The Lady Cats got everyone involved in the gameplay, and it was a great demonstration of teamwork and sportsmanship," Walkerville coach Mandy Achterhof said.
Paige Sadenwater-Riggs and Jamari Carter had 15 points each for Walkerville (4-14), and Gaby Berumen chipped in 13. Berumen had nine steals, and Carter had 11 rebounds.
