Hart dropped its season opening game to a strong Division 2 Fruitport team Monday night, 7-0.
The Pirates were down two players, according to coach Joe Gilbert, and keeper Baleigh Klotz attempted to battle through an ankle injury before giving way to Emma Hopkins, who is in her first year playing soccer and made six saves in net.
The Trojans scored four goals in a 20-minute stretch of play in the first half and added three second-half tallies. Hart was unable to connect on a few scoring chances of their own.
