Cam Smith fires six-inning no-hitter in Shelby baseball sweep of White Cloud

Shelby scored two more wins Monday against White Cloud in non-conference action, winning by scores of 5-4 and 5-0. Cam Smith's six-inning no-hitter in game two was the day's big highlight for the Tigers.
Smith struck out nine in the no-no and walked only one better. He needed only 74 pitches to blank the Indians. Smith and Eli Kelley each had a RBI single in the second inning to extend the Tigers' early lead to 4-0. Kelley and Trevor Weiss each had two hits.
The Tigers (14-3) scored four times in the fourth inning of game one to grab the lead; those were the final runs of the game. Leighton Belasco had a RBI double in the inning, and DayDay Garcia singled him in to put his team in front.
Garcia had two hits and two RBI. Eli Kelley got the win in relief, throwing three shutout innings and striking out five.
