six and walked one in game one and struck out six and walked two in game
two.
Sydney Bateson led a potent Pirate offense in game one
by going 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored. One of her hits
was a double. Caydence Bateson got a hit, drew two walks and scored
three runs. Makenna Carrier also scored three runs.
In game
two, Smith doubled twice, drove in five runs and scored three. Caydence
Bateson got two hits, drove in three runs and scored four. Kora Hiddema
had two hits and three RBI, and ElliAna Guikema had two hits as well.
For
Hesperia on the day, Elliana Sanker, Avery Wilder and Sarah James each
drew a walk. Wilder and James also stole a base apiece.
