Hesperia could do little to stop a potent Ravenna team Tuesday, losing a West Michigan Conference doubleheader 16-1 and 15-0.
Tucker
Bolles drove in the Panthers' only run of the day by singling in
Braxton Hendrix in the second inning of game one. Hendrix had been hit
by a pitch earlier in the inning. Bolles' hit was Hesperia's only one of
the opener.
The Panthers struggled defensively, with seven errors leading to 11 unearned runs.
Hesperia
had six more errors in game two. The Panthers got two hits, one each by
Weston Hasted and Evan Conkle. Conkle's hit was a double.
