Hart dropped a West Michigan Conference Rivers doubleheader at Holton Thursday, 6-3 and 18-6.
The
Pirates attempted to rally from an early 6-0 deficit in game one by
scoring three straight runs, but could get no closer. Caden VanGelderen
had a RBI single during the attempted comeback, one of two Pirate hits
in the game. Hollis Rockwell had Hart's other hit.
The host
Devils scored 12 runs in the third inning of game two to break a
scoreless game wide open. Mason Guikema and Jordan Thies each had two
hits for the Pirates, and Joseph Osorio had two RBI.
