Pentwater's season came to an end Friday with a 15-2 defeat to Mason County Eastern in the district semifinals.
The
Falcons briefly took a 2-1 lead in the second inning when Abram Kieda
scored on a passed ball and Jamison Clark followed with a RBI single.
MCE tied the score in the bottom of the inning, though, and took the
lead for good in the third.
Clark got two of the Falcons'
three hits in the game, and Kieda got the third. MCE took advantage of
10 walks to win the game by mercy rule in five innings.
