Pentwater golf wins Mesick jamboree, moves into first-place tie in WMD

Pentwater moved into a first-place tie with Grand Traverse Academy atop the West Michigan D League standings Tuesday by winning the Mesick jamboree.
The Falcons shot a team score of 172, 10 strokes better than GTA, to deadlock the two teams heading into the conference finals meet next week.
Bode Powell led Pentwater by tying for first place individually, shooting a 40. Gavin Macher and Izzabella Kolenda tied for third and each posted a 42, and Brody Austin had a 48 to close out team scoring. Kolenda's third-place showing marked her best individual finish of the season.
