Shelby moved back into the top spot in the West Michigan Conference
Rivers at its home jamboree Monday, with one meet still to go.
The
Tigers went from three strokes behind North Muskegon to three strokes
ahead by topping the Norsemen 166-172 at Oceana Golf Club. It'll be the
Norsemen hosting the season's final jamboree.
Titan Carter
continued his dominant season with one of his best rounds yet, a
two-under par 34, to pick up medalist honors. He birdied three holes on
the day.
Also for Shelby, Ivan Carter finished third with a 41 and Andrew Arquette had a 45. Rafael Davis capped Tiger scoring with a 46.
Hart
finished third at the meet with a 183. Hunter Loudermilk and Braydan
Baron tied for fifth place overall, shooting a 44. Baron made a birdie
in his round. Logan Dean shot a 47, and Joel Knobel had a 48.
Hesperia
finished fifth with a 197, paced by Alex Scott. Scott shot a 43, good
for fourth place overall. Logan Kammer added a 45, Tim Hoaglin shot a 47
and Taylor Ackerberg posted a 62.
