Beverly Jean Eitniear

Beverly Jean Eitniear, 90, of Hart, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart. She was born December 26, 1934, in Hart, the daughter of Monroe and Phronie (Wehry) Sutherland.
Beverly enjoyed crafting items for people and was skilled in knitting, crocheting and sewing. She also enjoyed playing games with family and friends, whether it was cards or bingo, or taking a trip to the casino. Beverly loved to travel; she rode motorcycles and snowmobiles and took many trips north and south.
Beverly was also active in her faith and was a member at Shelby Congregational United Church of Christ.
Beverly is survived by: her children, Shelly (Dale) Cherry and Kevin (Max the cat) Eitniear; grandchildren, Kymberly (David) Woodman, Jennifer (Daniel) Mellor, Heather (Michael) Schreibe, and Tamara (Chase) Cherry-Martinez; and great-grandchildren, Alayna, Elizabeth, Raiden, Asher and Bennett.
Beverly was preceded in death by: her parents, Monroe and Phronie Sutherland; husband, Duane ‘Wink’ Eitniear; brother, Ervin Sutherland; and great-granddaughters, Zoey Kaylynn Martinez and Nadya Woodman.
Beverly’s family received friends from 3-5 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, MI 49420. A Celebration of Life will be held in Spring 2026 and interment will be in Gale Cemetery, Newfield Township.
