Mario Revilla

Mario Revilla, 69, of Shelby, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born July 18, 1956, in Alice, Texas, the son of Antonio and Olga (Munoz) Revilla.
Mario worked most of his adult life at Howmet in Whitehall, Mich. before his retirement. Along with a period of driving truck for Harbor Steel. He was a graduate of Shelby High School. He married Jacquelynn “Jackie” Baird Revilla in 2012, but they were together many years before marriage. He loved being around his grandkids, going to their sporting events and taking his dog Cowboy for a walk. He enjoyed the Thursday evening music events in Hart at The Commons as well as long motorcycle rides. He was a very giving person and wouldn’t think twice to help in any way he could. 
Mario is survived by: his daughter, Stacy Revilla (Miguel Rios); sisters, Delia (Juan) Salazar, Belinda (Moises) Trejo, Rosalinda (Rigo) Martinez, Yolanda (Manuel) Avila; grandchildren, Isaiah Vega, Alexa Cosme, Miguel Rios Jr., Adam Baird Jr. and Devin Gabany; as well as many nieces, nephews and lifetime friends.
Mario was preceded in death by: his wife, Jacquelynn Baird Revilla; parents, Olga and Antonio Revilla; brothers, Manuel Revilla, Rolando Revilla Sr., Gilbert Revilla, Antonio Revilla Jr. and Albert Revilla; and sister, Odelia Ramirez. 
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1372 S. Oceana Dr., Shelby, Michigan 49455, with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, Michigan 49455, with a praying of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. An additional visitation will be held Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
