Daniel Jay Parsons, age 69, of Holland went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Resthaven Maplewoods in Holland. The son of John and Joann Parsons, he was born July 7, 1956 in Shelby.
Dan retired from farming with NJ Fox & Sons after 46 years due to a medical condition. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Allegan. He loved working with his hands and helping people. In the last few years of his life he discovered painting and was a talented artist.
Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ruth Graham, and Cecil and Laurita Parsons; nephew, Dwayne Dennison; and his unborn child. He is survived by his wife, Stacy of 36 years; daughters, Jennifer (Joshua Kok) Vogel, Sarah (Dennis) Hobbs, and Angela (James) Bailard; parents, John and Joann Parsons; siblings, Jeffrey (Laura) Parsons, Sharon (Robert) Dennison, Stanley Parsons and Mary Chappell; as well as an uncle; numerous aunts; nephews; nieces; and cousins.
There will be two Celebrations of Life for Dan. The first on Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Allegan, 1290 32nd St., Allegan, MI. The second on Saturday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hart, 3258 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, MI.
