Joshua A. Mahan

Joshua A. Mahan, 45, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was the beloved son of MarySue Mahan.
Josh was raised in Hart and graduated from Hart High School in 1999, where he excelled in track and cross country.
Josh traveled, working construction as an ironworker, getting to see much of the U.S. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his fun-loving gentle spirit, and as a loyal friend. Josh also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and leaves behind his loving dog, Bullet.
Josh is survived by: three aunts, Janet (Ken) Klotz, Patricia (Mike) Scofield and Cheryl (Dennis) Gale; cousins, Christopher Klotz, Ryan Klotz, Kendra Smith, Jason Riggs, Chad Riggs, Jeffrey Riggs, Crystal Riley and Gregory Gale; his ‘best little sister,' Jenn; and his best bud, Brad; as well as many trusted friends.
Josh was preceded in death by: his mother; grandparents, Melvin and Marie Mahan; uncle, Michael Mahan; and cousin, Meika Riggs.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, MI 49420.
