Montague soccer's offense stifled by defending conference champ Ludington in shutout

Montague fell to defending West Michigan Conference champion Ludington Monday night in its league opener, 7-0.
The Wildcats (1-2, 0-1 WMC) were stifled by a strong Oriole defense and did not get a shot on goal in the game.
Ludington opened the scoring less than 30 seconds after kickoff and got two goals each from Eloise Kwietnewski, Hestyn Stowe and Leeahna Veeneman in an impressive offensive performance.
