Mark Earl Dean, 64, of Ludington, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on April 27, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Hart, Michigan.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sharon Dean. He is survived by his fiancé, Beth Renwick; his siblings, Kari (Steve) Beste, Ninajo (Jimmy) Wallace, and Kelly (Renee) Dean; as well as his children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He proudly served in the United States Army and worked as a machine operator at Floracraft for 14 years.
Mark enjoyed sports throughout his life, including golf and bowling, and in his younger years especially wrestling and playing softball, where he formed many lasting friendships. He was known to many as “Shadow.”
He will be remembered for his infectious smile, sense of humor, and love for his family.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at Memorial Tree Park, 1598 N. Washington Ave., in Ludington, Michigan.
