William Michael ‘Bill’ Efeney

William Michael “Bill” Efeney, age 86, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pentwater, Michigan, and was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Bill was born to Bill and Marie Efeney and lived a life defined by faith, hard work, service and devotion to his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964. Above all, Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, JoAnn Efeney; his sister, Marylin Rector; his children, Susan Cooper (William Cooper), Kelly De Nunzio (Dino De Nunzio) and Michael Efeney (Amy Efeney); his cherished grandchildren, Carlee Efeney-Nelson (Tommy Nelson), John Anclien, Jenni Keim (John Keim), Trey Efeney (Danni Efeney) and Nicole Anclien; and his great-grandson, William Michael Efeney IV.

Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Parish in Hart, Michigan, on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Bill’s life and to honor the legacy of a man who faithfully served his country, his church, his community and those he loved most.
