Montague went 0-3-1 Saturday at the Chippewa Hills Invitational, falling in three games to Alma in bracket play.
The Wildcats lost 25-17, 23-25, 15-5 to Alma in the bracket match. In pool play, the Wildcats fell to Alma in a close match, 25-23, 25-22, tied Beaverton 17-25, 25-20 and lost to Greenville 25-19, 25-10.
Annelyse Schneider led the Wildcats (2-12-5) offensively with 16 kills for the day. She also had six blocks on defense. Ava Dean had 54 digs, and Layla Denhof posted 42 assists.
