Whitehall dropped a close match to Western Michigan Christian Monday, 5-3, scoring two doubles wins along the way.
The
Vikings were without top singles player Wyatt Burger. The only singles
win for the Vikings came from Scout Freiheit, who rolled to a two-set
win at No. 4 singles.
In doubles play, Jonathan Roberge/Jack
Koegel and Liam Nicholas/Tanner Osmun won their matches at No. 2 and No.
3 doubles respectively. Nicholas/Osmun went three sets against Mason
Tisdel/Alfredo Fajardo, but dominated a third-set tiebreaker and picked
up a 6-4, 6-7(5), 10-1 win.
