Shelby downed county foe Hesperia as part of a 2-0 night Wednesday at the Holton Quad. The Panthers beat Hesperia 47-33 and edged Holton 41-36.
Hesperia's second match results were not reported.
The Tigers racked up bonus-point wins against Hesperia, winning all but one of its eight matches by pin or, in the case of Cesar Cadena, technical fall.
Alden Beyer, Jayden Casiano, Caleb Huls, William Gonzalez, Brody Fessenden and Jaylin Henderson each won matches by pin, and Julian Prado picked up a win by forfeit.
For Hesperia, Grayson Gould, Aiden Smith, Ryan Fuentes and Noah Walker won matches by pin. Dain Kraus picked up a 9-6 decision win, and George Goodrich won a match by forfeit.
Henderson also scored a pin against Holton to cap off a 2-0 night, and Fessenden's technical fall against Holton pushed him to 2-0 as well. Beyer also went 2-0.
