Hart scored its first win of the season Wednesday night against Suttons Bay, controlling the action in a 4-1 victory.
The Pirates (1-1) didn't wait long to get on the board; less than four minutes after kickoff, Zoily Sarabia fed a cutting Addison Barefoot for a goal.
Barefoot scored two goals in the game and returned Sarabia's assist by helping her score a goal in the second half. Olivia Bradley ripped a free kick into the net during the game as well, giving the Pirates a 4-0 lead. Suttons Bay scored with 11:13 to go, but by then the Pirates had an insurmountable lead.
Keeper Baleigh Klotz made three saves for Hart, and coach Joe Gilbert said team captains selected Nevaeh Reyna as the "woman of the match" for helping to lock down the defensive end of the field.
