Montague posted its best nine-hole score of the season at
Wednesday's Orchard View jamboree, edging Whitehall by two strokes,
165-167, to finish in third place.
The final scores allowed Montague to place fourth in the final West Michigan Conference Lakes standings, with Whitehall fifth.
Michael
Flanagan and Ethan Balon tied for 4th place overall with a 38 to lead
Montague. Balon scored a birdie, while Flanagan made seven pars. Jonah
Henderson shot a 43 for the Wildcats, and David Gowin had a 46.
Jones
McDowell paced Whitehall by shooting a 40. Right behind him were Rylan
Johnson with a 41 and Gabe Gilbert with a 42. William Burger and Finn
Novy tied for the Vikings' fourth scoring spot with a 44.
