Montague finished fourth, with Whitehall in sixth, at Thursday's
Fremont Jamboree as West Michigan Conference Lakes play winds down.
The Wildcats scored a 171, 14 strokes behind winner Ludington. Whitehall had a tough day as a team and shot 188.
Michael
Flanagan continued a breakout freshman season for Montague by leading
the team in scoring with a 40 and shooting no worse than bogey on any
hole. He tied for sixth overall.
Tanner DeVries also placed in
the top 10, coming in 10th with a 41. David Gowin shot a 44, and Ethan
Balon had a 46 to cap the scoring.
Clayton Betz paced the
Vikings with a 42, followed by Gabe Gilbert with a 45. Finn Novy shot a
49, and Brooks Westerlund had a 52.
